Before opening the print dialog
Finish the preview first. Confirm the paper size, orientation and page count. For photos, check cropping and resolution. For measured paper templates, confirm the spacing unit. A preview is the best place to catch a wrong choice before consuming paper.
Match the document and the printer
A4 is 210 × 297 mm; US Letter is 215.9 × 279.4 mm. Selecting A4 in the tool and Letter in the print driver encourages automatic shrinking. Choose the same size in both places. The printable sheet uses the dimensions selected in the tool.
Use the browser’s PDF destination
The print button opens a separate printable document. Choose Save as PDF, Print to PDF or your operating system’s equivalent. Availability and wording depend on the browser and operating system. No paid conversion service or uploaded file is involved.
If the print window does not open, allow pop-ups for this website and try again. If the PDF has an extra blank page, check headers, footers, printer margins and scaling. Print only after all photos have appeared in the preview.
Verify physical dimensions
Choose 100% or Actual size for measurements. Print one sample before a batch. Use a ruler to check a known span: ten spaces on a 5 mm grid should be 50 mm. A correct SVG can still be scaled by an application importing it.
Choose the right export
SVG is vector and can be resized cleanly, but embedded text uses an available system font. PNG is a fixed pixel image and can become blurry if enlarged too far. PDF preserves a document’s page boundaries and is usually the easiest format to share for printing. Each format is useful for a different destination.
